Summer Session #1 – 2026 Online Course

Thank you for your interest in our driver’s education program! Students must have a valid learner’s permit by June 1, 2026 to enroll.

Pickup Locations: Rock Valley, Hull, Orange City, Sioux Center, LeMars

Online coursework begins in May and can be completed at your own pace through Canvas.

Most behind-the-wheel driving instruction begins after school is out, giving students maximum flexibility.

A recorded Zoom orientation will be sent on May 6, 2026 to explain the course and driving schedule.

5:1 Ratio – Premium Instructor Support

5 hours with a certified instructor
1 hour with a parent (recorded and submitted via Dropbox)
Best for students with less driving experience who need more instructor time

3:3 Ratio – Most Popular Option

3 hours with a certified instructor
3 hours with a parent (recorded and submitted via Dropbox)
Great for students with some driving experience and supportive home practice
$350

1:5 Ratio – Parent-Led Option

1 hour with a certified instructor
5 hours with a parent (recorded and submitted via Dropbox)
Ideal for confident students nearly ready to drive independently and want ultimate flexibility
$300

A fuel surcharge may apply if gas prices exceed $4.00/gallon.

PARENT GUIDED CLASS INFO

Drives are scheduled by parent and student based on availability from the weekly driving calendar

Drives are completed with a driving partner

Driving sessions may extend up to 45 days after the classroom deadline

Must have learner’s permit by June 1, 2026

No refunds

Students who do not pass the classroom and/or driving portion must retake at full cost
