Fall 2025 Online Course – DRIVEN School of Driving LLC
Thank you for your interest in our driver’s education program through DRIVEN School of Driving LLC. Students must have a valid learner’s permit before enrolling in this course.
Driving Pickup Location: Sioux Center only
Classroom Format: The classroom portion will be online and self-paced through Canvas. We’ve developed a high-quality curriculum approved by the state of Iowa that meets all state standards.
There are two options for completing the Behind-the-Wheel instruction:
Driving Options
3:3 Ratio
- 3 hours of driving with a certified instructor
- 3 hours of driving with a parent (recorded and submitted via Dropbox)
- Best for students with solid driving experience and supportive practice at home
- Cost: $350
1:5 Ratio
- 1 hour of driving with a certified instructor
- 5 hours of driving with a parent (recorded and submitted via Dropbox)
- Ideal for confident students who are nearly independent behind the wheel
- Cost: $300
A fuel surcharge may apply if gas prices exceed $4.00/gallon.

Important Dates:
- Parent & Student Zoom Meeting: Wednesday, September 11, 2025 at 5:00 PM
- Classroom Work Deadline: November 30, 2025
This Zoom meeting will provide detailed instructions about:
- Accessing and navigating the online course
- Uploading driving videos
- Scheduling driving sessions
Drives are scheduled by the parent/student based on availability from our weekly driving calendar. All drives will be based out of Sioux Center and completed with a driving partner. Driving sessions may extend up to 45 days after the classroom deadline.
Students must have a valid learner’s permit by September 11, 2025 to participate.
There are no refunds for this course. Students who do not pass the classroom or driving portion will need to retake the course at full cost.
