Start Your Online Coursework in July

• Online coursework begins on July 1, 2026 and can be completed at your own pace through Canvas.
• Most behind-the-wheel driving instruction begins after school is out, giving students maximum flexibility.
• A recorded Zoom orientation will be sent on July 1, 2026 to explain the course and driving schedule.

Behind-the-Wheel Driving Options

5:1 Ratio – Premium Instructor Support

• 5 hours with a certified instructor
• 1 hour with a parent (recorded and submitted via Dropbox)
• Best for students with less driving experience who need more instructor time
• $425

3:3 Ratio – Most Popular Option

• 3 hours with a certified instructor
• 3 hours with a parent (recorded and submitted via Dropbox)
• Great for students with some driving experience and supportive home practice
• $350

1:5 Ratio – Most Flexible Option

• 1 hour with a certified instructor
• 5 hours with a parent (recorded and submitted via Dropbox)
• Ideal for confident students who want the most flexible schedule and parent-led practice
• $300

A fuel surcharge may apply if gas prices exceed $4.00/gallon.

Important Dates

• Registration Deadline: July 1, 2026 (must enroll by this date)
• Class Start / Zoom Orientation: July 1, 2026
• Learner’s Permit Due: July 1, 2026
• Classroom Work Deadline: TBD (communicated during the course)

Driving Schedule

• Drives are scheduled by parent and student based on availability from the weekly driving calendar
• Locations: Rock Valley, Hull, Orange City, Sioux Center, LeMars
• Drives are completed with a driving partner
• Driving sessions may extend up to 45 days after the classroom deadline

Program Policies

• Must have learner’s permit by July 1, 2026
• No refunds
• Students who do not pass the classroom and/or driving portion must retake at full cost
